Unilateral stimulation

when just one side is affected

The RT300's unilateral stimulation mode configures the RT300 to operate seamlessly when only one side of the body requires electrical stimulation.  This feature includes a unilateral stimulation cable which simplifies electrode connection.

Leg stimulation can include any or all of:

  • Quadriceps

  • Hamstrings

  • Gluteals

  • Gastroc

  • Anterior tibialis

Arm stimulation1 can include any or all of:

  • Biceps

  • Triceps

  • Shoulder muscle groups

  • Anterior deltoid

  • Posterior deltoid

  • Wrist flexors / grip

  • Wrist extensors / release

The RT300 software includes features which ensure that the affected side does receive electrical stimulation even when the unaffected side is dominant.

Dynamic Motor Support helps to ensure that the electrical stimulation is tolerable even with normal sensation levels.

A visual asymmetry indicator provides feedback helping to keep the workload balanced on both left and right sides.
